What is VFX?

VFX is widely used for environments, creatures, explosions, and other effects that blend seamlessly with live-action footage.

VFX Artist
Scope: Design and create visual effects for films, TV shows, commercials, and games, using computer software to generate realistic imagery.
Key Skills: 3D modeling, animation, compositing, rendering, particle simulations.
3D Modeler
Scope: Create detailed 3D models of characters, environments, objects, and creatures that will be used in visual effects and animations.
Key Skills: 3D modeling software (e.g., Maya, Blender, ZBrush), texturing, sculpting.
Motion Graphics Artist
Scope: Develop animated graphic elements for video production, including title sequences, lower thirds, and dynamic visual content for films, TV, and advertising.
Key Skills: Motion design, Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, animation principles.
